Top: Forever 21
Shorts: Vintage Levi 501s
Booties: Modern Vice
I hope everyone is having a great Wednesday! I wanted to share a quick outfit post with you all. The weather is a recurring topic, but how can I stop discussing it when I have to leave both my boots AND sandals out of their boxes (since tomorrow there could be a 20 degree drop in temperature)? I threw on this boxy paint splattered top, pairing it with some shorts and booties. The material on this top is sooo nice! It’s similar to linen (if it isn’t and I just don’t know because I’m not an expert with materials) LOL it’s very heavy, yet it’s structure allows for some ventilation since it’s not body hugging. It also has a really cool zippered detail that goes all the way down the back. I purchased it at Forever 21 earlier this year, so I couldn’t link it for you all.
These shorts used to be a pair of my mom’s old jeans. Thank God for her, she cut them and did all the distressing on them. Since the vintage 501s are super popular, you can find them anywhere from Ebay to Etsy.
My sunnies are from a company called AmEyewear out of Australia. They reminded me of the Celine ZZ Top sunglasses that you see on all the celebrities; but, they were half the price at the time I purchased them. They stand out on any face because the frame is so large, but I love a good pair of oversized sunglasses! AmEyewear has some really cool designs and you can click on the link in the description to take a look at them.
These booties were purchased at a local boutique and you’ll never guess how much I swooped these up for! Fate brought us together for $30 LOL they were on sale with an extra discount applied to them at checkout. I tried to price match them and only found the ones on the brand’s website for nearly $400. I’m not sure if they have another less expensive line, but I can tell you that they are super comfy and the quality is nothing short of amazing. The buckles on the sides are a nice detail that really differentiate them from the others that I have. I linked a pair on sale from their website that you can check out if you’re interested.
Thanks for stopping by!
