Button Up: JCPenney
Cami: Wet Seal
Heels: Steve Madden
I’ve been borrowing my boyfriend’s shirts a lot lately, haven’t I? It’s not a secret than the men’s section has some good pieces; and as women, we find ourselves there more often than not (or find ourselves rifling through our guy’s closet)! An oversized button up shirt can really make for a sexy look. Since men’s shirts are on the longer side, I decided to tie it in the front; but, it also looked really cute unbuttoned to show off the satin cami underneath. This particular button up is in the slim fit style which fit perfectly! You can even throw a knitted sweater over it and it would look super chic.
The satin cami is from Wet Seal and I know they’ve still got it in stock. I wasn’t able to find it on their website, but I’ll keep looking around and keep you updated if I find it. The wine color is so classy and perfect for fall.
Next, the jeans. If you haven’t noticed, embroidered denim is the “in” thing right now. Originally, I’d wanted a pair with colored embroidery but I couldn’t find them anywhere in stores. Of course, stores don’t always get the new trends in until a month later so I shouldn’t have been surprised. Luckily, Express knows what’s up! These rose embroidered denim jeans made me do a double take when I walked in the store. There was no way I was leaving without them! I know I always gripe about the fit of jeans and finding the perfect ones, but Express has always been one of those stores that’s got really nice fitting denim. It’s on the pricier side, but when those “40% off denim” sales go on, I’d really recommend trying a pair out!
These heels are from Steve Madden in the Varcitty style. The suede material and sky high heel are so killer. Like I mentioned in my previous outfit post where I wore my other nude Steve Madden heels (here), I’m still on the hunt for the perfect pair of pumps! While these babies are beautiful, they take an experienced woman to wear them. This has me asking the question, “will we ever find a comfortable and stylish pump?”.
If anyone has any tips or tricks on how to make heels a little more bearable, please leave those comments down below! I’d love to hear from you 🙂
