It really bugs me to be in a creative stump. It’s like I can’t think or even put a decent outfit together. That’s how you know you’re in a rut, when there’s no making sense out of something that you love. At times like these, you kinda just go with what you know; and for me, that’s just a plain V-neck tee, a pair of jeans, and some boots.

I’ve ranted and raved about the t-shirts from Target by the brand Merona. Even after checking higher end stores, none have compared to these. Not to mention, the price point is perfect at around $9 per shirt. They’re super soft and stretchy for those lazy and comfortable days.

These jeans have been featured in another post (here), before I ripped them up in frustration. Actually, my mom took some scissors to them while I was wearing them and they’re still a work in progress. They’re super old so I decided to give them a little update.

Lately, I’ve seen these double buckle belts everywhere! I found this one at Express and fell in love. If you’re a student, don’t forget to show your student ID in stores for 15% off! This belt has so much character and it added so much to what could have been a boring outfit.

Last but not least, these boots! As my mom and I were aimlessly walking downtown looking for some inspiration, we stepped into a little boutique and found them. They’re from the brand Nature Breeze and they were super inexpensive. The heel is more of a block heel so my feet don’t kill me when I wear them and the height is perfect! It’s not too high and not too low. Thank God, because I’m so tired of wearing uncomfortable shoes! Thigh high  boots are so in right now and are good for fall especially because you can still make use of your skirts and dresses, too. I’m looking forward to planning out some more outfits around them 🙂

I linked some similar thigh high boots from Lola Shoetique since they’ve got similar brands at very similar price points. The originals have also been linked via Amazon.

What do you guys think about the over the knee boots? Leave me some comments down below and let me know! Thanks for reading 🙂
